On June 22, 2008 from 1 to 4 pm., friends of Old Trail Museum Complex took a trip back into the 60's with fun for the whole family!

Party  Highlights:

All Activities were Free to the Friends of the Old Trail Museum

Food was provided by the Baptist Church for a small donation.  Youth & their parents raised funds for a mission trip to inner city Denver.

Using modern day technology, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Willie Nelson took the guests back to the 60's in keeping with the 1968 party theme.

Games and prizes were provided for all the guests.  Most children enjoyed the bag toss overall.

A Tie-Dye Booth was set up allowing guests to design their own shirts and choose their colors.  By far the favorite booth at the party!

Cake and punch also were a big hit.  Ice cold punch hit the spot on the warm summer day.

Many new pictures were added to the Old Trail Museum's history collection.

Come and view our newest exhibits...

The Maiasaura exhibit represents the first stage of an ongoing project to completely restore the first known specimen of a single adult Maiasaura.  This first type specimen of the Montana State Fossil was found west of Pendroy in 1989.

The exhibit, 40 Years in Choteau, highlights 40 years of the museum in Choteau starting with Founders, Bob and Mig Zion, who opened for business on June 22, 1968.

The other new exhibit, A Walk Through Time, highlights Choteau History in General.
